Risk strategy
The risk strategy is an expression of Hannover Re's fundamental approach to the identification and handling of risks. It is derived from the company strategy and constitutes a self-contained set of rules. At the same time it serves as the point of departure for the Group-wide practice of risk management. Applicable right across the Group, the risk strategy is an integral component of entrepreneurial actions and is reflected in the detailed strategies of the various divisions.
